How to make asian spice burritos


Avacado, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, diced onions, chopped cilantro (aka coriander) and spices (refer to step 3).

Half pound of lean beef and on boneless chicken breast sliced. You of course need soy sauce if you're going to make this "Asian"! Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix all spices and seasonings into the meats. Asian 5 Spice Package, Ground Pepper, Soy Sauce, Garlic Salt, Minced Garlic, Pinch of salt and Sugar, Savory, and Chicken Broth Powder.

Mmmmm meat...

Mix well and set aside to marinate.

Put avocado, some diced tomatoes, diced onions, and chopped cilantro in a bowl. Add a splash of lime juice and mix!

Set your guacamole aside.

Get your rice and tomato sauce ready!

Fry some diced onions until golden

Add your rice, a few tablespoons of tomato sauce, and seasonings to your taste! (I used chicken broth powder and garlic powder)

Set your rice aside when evenly coated.

Sauté onions in a bit of oil and the rest of the dried peppers.

Add diced tomatoes, mushrooms, and the remaining tomatoes sauce.

Drain your beans (I used red kidney beans) and add to the mixture.

Mix well, and let simmer to cook the beans thoroughly.

Add seasonings to your taste (garlic salt).

Fry some garlic (key ingredient in a lot of Asian cuisine!) to prepare the pan for frying the meats.

Stir fry the beef until done (however you want).

Stir fry the chicken thoroughly (unless you want salmonella!)

Set cooked meats aside in preparation for wrapping!

Arrange your burrito station!! Rice, guacamole, meats, tortilla shells (and cheese if you want, we didn't use cheese in this) and the delicious spicy bean mixture.

Add all desired ingredients to your liking and wrap!!

Serve with a side of rice, garnish with some veggies and enjoy! :)

You can wrap your burritos to keep them for the week! Just nuke them in the microwave and enjoy at work or school!
